Free crafting removes the backpack shuffle. You open the menu, pick the recipe, and the item appears — materials optional when the toggle is on.
Crafting vs unlock recipes
Free crafting lets you build anything you already unlocked. It does not auto-learn mutations. For analysis station skips, see unlock recipes and unlock recipes page.
Base building nights
Players love free crafting for mushroom bricks and defensive walls. Stack with building cheats for placement speed. Combat toggles off while you build keeps the session calm.
